It is almost universally understood that fervor surrounding college and university athletics pales in comparison to our neighbors to the south.
In Canada, packed gym is considered a good turnout in the U.S., do not even have the stadium personnel. In short, Americans live, breathe and eat sports, while Canadians consider it more of a recreation than a religion.
But we've still managed to maintain: beer stadium is better, more teasing our cause ( "learning to happen, eh!") And our pets are just as ridiculous.
Well, maybe not Pittsburgh Steelers ridiculous, but still pretty silly. In that sense, we can present to you the 7 best (and worst) Canadian pets.
Pets: Boo Hoo Bear

Description: Wearing a vest of a Royal Stewart tartan and matching tam, Boo Hoo Bear strikes fear into the hearts of no one.
In fact, it is difficult to be anything but confused when they saw this huge black bear field success. Is it a bear Scotland? He ate a scotch and steal your clothes?
Anyway, Boo Hoo cubes compared with their ancestors (pun) – the original Boo pets Hoo was a real, honest to goodness have to be kept in the basement of Grant Hall. Now that is a pet you do not want to quarrel with.

Description: "What the ______ one Gee Gee?" Frosh is a popular song per week for students Carleton University, but just what is a Gee Gee?
As it turns out, the term "Gee Gee" has a double meaning: in a derby, is the first horse from the gate, and in this case, also means "Garnet and gray, 'U of two zeros official colors.
The fact that indirectly supports outside Horse track betting is a kind of cool, I guess. However, one would think that could have gone with something a little less complicated. Pet Names are assumed to catchy, no clues about the DaVinci Code, people!

Let's face it, the goal here is not actually kill the other team, is to sell hot dogs and banners and have a good time. Seriously, Lancer: sounds like a cheesy super villain my childhood cartoon on Saturday morning.
Rein in a bit: to lose the shell and pants, through some shorts and join the party.

Description: Looks like someone at the University of Alberta was looking over Queen's shoulder.
Let's see: Bear? Check! Kilt? Check? Stomach? Hey, wait, what? GUBA seems that it enjoys a halter tops, or can not afford new clothes, or that the University of Alberta does not care if your pet seems to be asking for half the time change.
Pets: Patches the Panda

Description: GUBA on-again, off-again girlfriend, and the mascot of the U of teams Women's A '. Although there is probably actually five pandas across Canada, this is at least acceptable compared to other pet U of A 'if that the two do not start grinding after a touchdown.
