Why Can’t Captain America Get a Movie Deal?
I mean come on, he is one of the oldest and most famous toons in the Marvel Universe. Defender of Freedom and War Hero….Come on movie producers, quite making movies on lesser toons and lets see the real, old school heros!
Historically, Cap has been around longer than most other marvel characters, but his comics have never really sold as well as Spider-man, X-men, and the others for some reason. He just doesn’t have as large of a fan base as the others, so marvel is probably still testing the waters with more well known characters first. Of course, there are already rumors about movies based around guys like Namor and Deadpool, so he’ll probably eventually get redone as well.
