Star Trek All
How many times did Jean-Luc Picard order Earl Grey in all 7 seasons of Star Trek TNG?

I was just curious how many times throughout the entire Star Trek The Next Generation series has the captain (played by Patrick Stewart) ordered his favorite tea.

Paramount Pictures 90th Anniversary Memorable Scores

Granddaddy of the Hollywood studios, Paramount Pictures is rightfully proud of its century of contributions to both American cinema and the art of film scoring. But the first disc of this 43-track double-CD anthology merely hints at the studio’s musical peaks, blithely skipping through its first seven decades in just 17 tracks. Indeed, the package as a whole seems more interested in marketing its …

Nichelle Nichols Talks About Heroes and Star Trek

Season 2 of NBC’s Heroes brought about a collection of new cast members, including Nichelle Davis and Dana Davis. They filled in as guardians for the super kid Micah, who is played by Noah Gray-Cabey. Apparently he was sent to New Orleans to live with some relatives, Nana (Nichols) and Monica ( Davis ) Dawson .

This morning, the two actresses spoke to reporters about their Heroes experience.

Nichelle Nichols explains that her involvement with the phenomenal show happened while she was on a trip back to Los Angeles . Her manager informed her about an audition, which she thought was just for a brief stint on a show. To her delight, the script was for a recurring role, and she was fortunately able to get a good grasp of the character. However, Nichols did dodge some questions about her character having powers. The number of episodes she’ll be in was also unclear. Nonetheless, she admitted that her role keeps on expanding.

Dana Davis was also guilty of avoiding revealing questions about her character Monica. She did, however, admit that she will be involved in some fights in the future, possibly with other heroes. When faced with the question of becoming St. Joan, the copycat character in the 9th Wonders Comic Book seen in the last episode, the actress did not answer, but admitted that it was a good guess.

As for the new Star Trek film, Nichols admired J.J. Abrams passion about it and is confident that the new version will live up to the original by Gene Roddenberry. She also briefly talked with Heroes co-star Zachary Quinto, who will be playing Spock, much to his delight. She said that he was so right for the role. Nichols added that if she gets to do a cameo in the new Star Trek film, she’d be so excited about it and let everyone know, as she would more than just love to do that.
